• Account information. When you sign in, we collect your email address and name. If you use Sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider (with Apple, a private relay email if you choose to hide yours). We assign you an account identifier.
• Guest sessions. If you continue as a guest, we generate a device identifier to maintain your session without an account. No email or name is collected for guests.
• Your searches. The flights you look up (airline, flight number, date) are saved as your recent searches so you can return to them quickly.
• Basic technical data. Standard information needed to run the app reliably — device type, OS version, app version, and diagnostic/crash information.

• No location, contacts, photos, or camera access.
• No payment information — SeatMap is free with no in-app purchases.
• No cross-app/website tracking and no advertising identifiers for ads.

We share personal information only with: authentication providers (Google, Apple) when you choose to sign in with them; our hosting/infrastructure providers that run the SeatMap backend on our behalf; and where required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety. We protect data with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No method is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

• Sign in with Google / Apple— used only to authenticate you; governed by Google's and Apple's privacy policies.
• Hosting/infrastructure — our backend stores your account and search data.

We keep your account information and recent searches while your account is active. Guest data is kept until the session ends or is cleared. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data, except anything we must retain for legal or security reasons.

• Delete your account in the app: Settings → Delete account — this removes your account and associated personal data.
• Sign out anytime from Settings.
• Access / correction — contact us to access or correct your information.
• Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have additional rights to access, port, or erase your data; contact us to exercise them.

SeatMap is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we'll remove it.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll change the effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email.
